Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. This role is ideal for someone with a background in construction or manufacturing industries and a strong understanding of accounts receivable processes. You will play a key role in overseeing AR operations, managing a team, and driving efficiencies in reporting and billing. Responsibilities: - Lead and oversee the accounts receivable team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily operations. - Manage commercial collections activities to maintain timely payments and reduce outstanding balances. - Supervise cash application processes to ensure proper allocation and reconciliation of payments. - Prepare and analyze aging reports to monitor outstanding receivables and address overdue accounts. - Oversee billing functions to ensure invoices are processed and distributed promptly. - Implement and enhance organizational systems and metrics reporting to improve AR performance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize AR workflows and resolve discrepancies. - Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance. - Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards throughout the AR processes. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable management within the construction or manufacturing industry. - Previous managerial experience, including leading and developing teams. - Proficiency in intermediate-level Excel functions, including data analysis and reporting. - Familiarity with organizational systems and metrics reporting tools. - Strong knowledge of commercial collections and cash application processes. - Ability to prepare and interpret aging reports and other financial documents. - Exceptional organizational and communication skills. - Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
