Hogsalt is seeking a dedicated and experienced   Full Time Baker  ($22-$24/hour)  to join our team!

Experience & Qualifications:

• At least one year of professional baking experience is required.

• Passion for excellence, superior service standards, and a positive attitude.

• Open availability including mornings, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift, including frequent bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and stooping.

• Ability to remain positive and productive in a potentially hot or cold work environment.

• Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate prior to start date.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Set up and stock station with all necessary supplies, ensuring proper inventory control.

• Cook and prepare menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen/bakery staff according to the Hogsalt Recipe Index, ensuring food quality and time standards are always met.

• Answer, report to, and follow instructions and direction from Bakery Operations Manager, Baking & Pastry Director, Executive Chef, or other leadership.

• Properly clean and break down station at the end of service, ensuring all food handling and food storage standards are met.

• Ensure that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations at all times.

• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers, leadership, and vendors.

• Se requiere al menos un año de experiencia profesional en panificación.

• Disponibilidad abierta incluyendo mañanas, fines de semana y festivos. 

• Capacidad para pararse, caminar y moverse durante todo el turno, lo que incluye agacharse con frecuencia, levantar hasta 50 libras y agacharse. 

• Capacidad para permanecer positivo y productivo en un ambiente de trabajo potencialmente caluroso o frío. 

• Debe tener el Certificado de Manipulador de Alimentos válido antes de la fecha de inicio.
