(24, 32, 36 or 40 hour per week) As a Level One Trauma and Magnet-designated hospital, we provide an environment of nursing excellence, competitive salaries, and flexible scheduling to support your success and help you discover new possibilities. **Qualifications:** **Required** + Active RN licensure in Massachusetts + Graduate of an approved school of nursing + Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN + Completed Periop 101 program + BLS **Preferred** + BSN + 2 years OR experience **The Role & Your Environment** You will be part of a dynamic, highly specialized team covering diverse surgical cases across our campuses in Boston. Our department has an explicit mission to provide advanced surgical care of the very highest quality to those in need, improve health through innovation and discovery, and prepare future leaders in American surgery. **Shifts & Scheduling** + Staff work 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts + Requires participation in an on-call rotation covering off-shifts, weekends, and holidays. **Our Operating Rooms & Specialties** _Nearly 30,000 operative procedures are conducted at BIDMC every year_ - Fully impatient Campus **Operating Room West (10 Rooms)** Inpatient Level I Trauma Surgery Bariatric, Neurosurgery, ENT, Orthopedic Trauma, Spine, Major Plastic Reconstruction, Robotic Surgery, and Kidney & Liver Transplants. **Operating Room East (20 Rooms)** High-volume general and specialized surgery (40-60 cases/day) OB/GYN, Colorectal, Plastics, Ortho-sports, General, ENT, Eyes, Cysto, General Urology, Robotics, Interventional Pulmonology, and Podiatry. **Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVI OR)** State-of-the-art facilities, including two endovascular suites and a cardiac hybrid room. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
