Job Summary:

We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst / Scrum Master who can support project delivery by managing sprints, coordinating tasks, and driving effective communication across teams. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical and documentation skills with the ability to lead agile ceremonies and ensure smooth execution of project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Scrum process by managing sprints, tracking progress, and coordinating team activities.
• Follow up on tasks and deliverables, ensuring timely completion and transparency across the team.
• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, facilitating clear and effective communication.
• Perform business and functional analysis, including requirement gathering, process mapping, and impact assessment.
• Conduct data analysis and prepare insights to support decision-making.
• Write and execute SQL queries to extract and validate data as needed.
• Review and interpret JSON/XML data structures and basic Python scripts when required.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation, including requirement specs, functional designs, and user stories.
• Ask insightful questions, proactively identify issues, and work independently with minimal supervision.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master, Business Systems Analyst, or a similar hybrid role.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - with the ability to confidently present and engage with stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with data querying (SQL), JSON/XML, and Python (basic understanding).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to think critically, ask the right questions, and drive clarity in requirements and execution.
• Experience coordinating across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with insurance (Annuity) domain projects.
• Certification in Scrum (CSM, PSM) or Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA).
