Job Title : Sr Data Center Engineer

Location : Fairfield, CA

Hybrid Duration : 3-6+ month contract, may extend

Mode of Interview : 2 rounds of interviews, Video screen then in person.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of experience supporting enterprise data center environments.

Strong expertise in Cisco UCS configuration, fabric interconnects, and service profiles.

Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi administration.

Experience managing Azure resources and hybrid connections (Azure Arc, ExpressRoute, etc.).

Proficiency with enterprise storage platforms (e.g., NetApp, Pure, Dell EMC, HPE 3PAR/Nimble).

Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, load balancing).

Scripting and automation experience (PowerShell, Python, or equivalent).

Top "Must-Have" Skillsets

These are core, non-negotiable technical capabilities required to perform the role effectively:

Cisco UCS expertise configuration, fabric interconnects, and service profiles (especially UCS X-Series).
VMware Virtualization (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) managing clusters, vMotion, DRS, and high availability setups.
Azure Hybrid Integration hands-on experience with hybrid environments using Azure Arc, ExpressRoute, or similar.
Enterprise Storage Management experience with SAN/NAS
Infrastructure Monitoring and Maintenance ensuring uptime, patch management, firmware updates.
Scripting and Automation using PowerShell (preferred), Python, or Azure Automation to streamline workflows.
