Job Description

• We are hiring immediately for a full time DISPATCHER position.
• Location : TAMU - 600 Agronomy Road, College Station, TX 77843. (Openings at other locations within school district available)  Note: online applications accepted only .
• Schedule : Full time schedule; Days may vary, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Rotating 12-hour shifts. More details upon interview. (Full and Part Time with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs)
• Requirement : Prior dispatcher experience is preferred; proficient in computer and communications skills.
• Pay Range: $14.00 per hour to $17.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Receives and processes customer service requests via phone, email, and computer systems. Coordinates communication with emergency services, contractors, or other related providers that are needed to resolve the issue at hand. Monitors multiple systems to ensure timely response by service departments.

• Provides quality customer service to customers by providing one-on-one attention to detail.
• Responds to requests for service or assistance from customers and other departments.
• Serves as a liaison between departments.
• Promotes requests in an efficient, timely manner according to current departmental standards, and priorities.
• Ensures accurate, timely notification of service interruptions.
• Monitors fire alarm systems and notified appropriate services for response.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
