Job Title: Electrical Estimator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join our team, primarily based in our Phoenix office, with the option for remote work and minimal travel. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electrical estimating, particularly in substations and transmission and distribution projects. Responsibilities + Assist chief estimators with quantity take-offs. + Prepare and manage bid packages. + Procure subcontractor bids. + Manage RFI during bid periods. + Control costs and develop schedules. + Maintain subcontractor relations. + Oversee P&L responsibilities. + Deliver high-quality and competitive bid analysis. Essential Skills + 3+ years of estimating experience. + Strong electrical experience + Experience in estimating substations or transmission and distribution projects. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, electrical estimating, and construction bidding. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Proficiency in Timberline or Sage 300 software. + Proficiency in Bluebeam or OnScreen software. + Post-secondary education in a Business Administration related discipline such as management, accounting, or finance. Work Environment The position is remote, ideally located in the Southwest or Texas region, with monthly travel to the office or job site for site visits. You will work closely with two Chief Estimators who provide training and support. The company offers a competitive bonus structure and a company vehicle for work-related travel.
