Annual Salary $89,217-$123,565
Key R esponsibilities: - Prepare, maintain and update environmental policy and procedure manuals.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations
- Keep abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization.
- Serves as contact with all Federal, State, and Local regulatory bodies.
- Identifies, assesses, and resolves problems concerning the environment.
- May design, install, operate, and maintain measuring apparatus to determine level of pollutants involving air, land and water.
- Performs experiments and reports findings on environmental consequences of equipment, tools, and procedures.
- Ensures the organization's conformance to federal, state, and local environmental legislation.
- Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.
Professional Experience: - Minimum (3) years in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the wood industry.
- Minimum (3) years of environmental compliance experience.
Education and Technical Skills Profile: - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- CEP certifications preferred.
- Goals should be communicated in "solution" or project goal terms.
- May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in specialization.
Environment and Behavioral Profile: - Must be able to work autonomously.
- Must be able to interface with others at all levels, from executive to hourly.
- Must be available to support 24/7/365 manufacturing operation.

Linguistic Profile: - Swiss Krono embraces the diversity of languages, but most, if not all, communication verbally and written is preferred in English to successfully complete the appropriate scope of work.
- Command of German a plus.
Mobility and Physical Requirement Profile: - Role based in the US, Barnwell, SC.
- This job is in a manufacturing environment.
- Travel up to 5%. Ability to travel on short notice.

- This is a full-time position, and general hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. This a leadership position which requires extended hours and weekend work, as need.
