Job Description

Exhibit Pros is seeking a Senior Exhibit Designer to join their creative team in Las Vegas, NV. This role is responsible for leading the design and development of custom trade show exhibits and branded environments from concept through execution.

The Senior Exhibit Designer plays a critical role in translating client goals into compelling, build-able 3D exhibit designs that balance creativity, functionality, fabrication feasibility, and budget requirements. This position collaborates closely with clients, project managers, account managers, and production and warehouse teams to deliver high-quality experiential solutions that come to life on the convention floor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients, project managers, and the creative team to interpret brand objectives and develop innovative 3D exhibit concepts
  • Design custom trade show exhibits and experiential environments from initial concept through final design
  • Produce detailed design deliverables including renderings, floorplans, elevations, and fabrication-ready drawings
  • Collaborate with project managers on estimating and scope development to ensure designs align with budgets, materials, and production requirements
  • Present design concepts to clients and clearly communicate design intent
  • Recommend materials, finishes, lighting, and graphic elements that enhance design quality while supporting fabrication feasibility
  • Ensure design accuracy, consistency, and adherence to Exhibit Pros’ quality standards
  • Work closely with production and warehouse teams to support successful build and installation
  • Mentor and support junior designers, fostering creativity, collaboration, and professional growth

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in exhibit design, experiential design, interior design, architectural design, or related fields
  • Trade show, convention, or event industry experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Advanced proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering software (such as 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, SketchUp, or similar)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Vector works
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Proven experience creating fabrication-ready drawings and technical documentation
  • Solid understanding of fabrication methods, materials, and graphic production processes
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating custom trade show exhibits, branded environments, or large-scale experiential projects
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and client-facing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail with a balance of creativity and practicality
  • Team-oriented mindset with leadership and mentorship capabilities
