Salary: $60,000 - $80,000/ year, based on experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Well versed in all aspects of foodservice management with a proven track record of success.
• Takes ownership of operations to ensure all service and management timelines are met.
• Manages financials, including planning, budgeting, analysis, and reporting.
• Maintains a proactive, professional approach with associates, managers, clients, and customers.
• Ensures compliance with meal requirements, standardized recipes, portion control, and food safety standards.
• Oversees food preparation, tray line accuracy, and proper labeling.
• Audits operations to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
• Hires, trains, and develops staff while monitoring performance and addressing issues.
• Collaborates with department managers and the Director of Operations to achieve daily production goals.
• Participates in management and food quality meetings.
• Schedules equipment maintenance and ensures compliance with all policies and procedures.

Education, Work Experience or Capability Requirements:

• B.S. Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field; or A.A. Degree plus four years of directly related experience preferred.
• Four plus years of direct foodservice operational management experience in a restaurant, hotel, country club and/or experience producing meals for outside groups.
• Excellent knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation a plus.
• Experience with P&L accountability is highly desirable.
• Ability to communicate on various levels to include management, customer and associate levels.
• Knowledge of financial, budgetary, accounting and computational practices.
• Proficient computer skills to include various computer programs, Microsoft Office programs, e-mail and the Internet.
• ServSafe® certified is preferred.
