This position for a Furniture/MAC (Move, Add, Change) Technician is responsible for executing work orders and moves related to furniture and similar equipment.

The tasks include, but are not limited to the following:

• Delivering/retrieving furniture

• Moving furniture

• Repairing furniture

• Reconfiguring workstations

• Performing furniture/occupancy surveys

• Relocating employee belongings/crates to new work areas

• Setting furniture in work areas to standard

• Basic equipment and facility repairs

• Simple carpentry tasks, such as installing shelves. hooks, or closet rods

Specific Job Skill / Requirements:

• Proficient in the use of computers/smartphones

• Ability to communicate (verbal and written) and interact with customers in a corporate setting

• Ability to work independently and complete assignments with minimal supervision

• Knowledgeable or experienced with hand and power tools, dollies and other moving equipment

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Experience in a corporate office environment

• Experience with office furniture systems preferred, but not necessary

Job Conditions:

• Demanding, fast-paced work environment

• Must be able to lift/push 75 lbs

• Must be able to walk up to 8 hours a day

• Onsite daily Monday-Friday, 1st shift
