As an IT Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple medium-to-large technology projects, ensuring they meet business objectives and deadlines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including solution engineers, operational staff, and internal project managers, to coordinate efforts and remove technical or procedural obstacles. This role requires a strong blend of organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining project quality. You will be responsible for monitoring budgets, timelines, and risks while providing clear updates to leadership and stakeholders. The position offers the opportunity to lead complex projects that directly impact operational efficiency and organizational success.

Accountabilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain project plans, schedules, and timelines for medium and large-scale technology initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional teams through all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation to closeout.
• Track project progress, manage issues, and communicate status updates to internal teams and leadership.
• Identify risks and constraints, develop mitigation strategies, and assist teams in resolving obstacles.
• Oversee budget forecasts and time reporting to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Coordinate post-implementation follow-ups and ensure projects align with operational and business objectives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on applications or system implementations.
• Strong understanding of SDLC concepts, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Proficiency with Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and project management tools such as Smartsheets; familiarity with JIRA/Confluence is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and lead cross-functional teams.
• College degree required; BS in related discipline preferred. PMP certification is a plus.
• Experience with change management and delivering presentations to senior leadership is desirable.
• Knowledge of IT systems or business functions within the telecommunications industry is an advantage.
