Junior UI/UX Designer

Position Overview We are seeking a creative and motivated Junior UI/UX Designer to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will assist in creating user-centric designs that enhance user experiences across digital platforms. This role will provide an opportunity to work closely with senior designers and developers to bring innovative ideas to life.

This is a 6 month, 40 hour/week freelance role that will require you to be onsite at least once a week in Cincinnati, OH.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using Figma to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure cohesive and visually appealing designs are implemented correctly.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve designs.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and design best practices to ensure our products remain competitive.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Figma and UI design principles.
• Experience in creating wireframes and prototypes.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A portfolio showcasing design projects and process.

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
