US Trades is expanding our team and looking for experienced Virginia State Licensed Electrical Journeymen to join our workforce. Position Overview
As a Licensed Electrical Journeyman, you’ll work inside an active industrial facility environment, performing electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems. You’ll be responsible for ensuring code compliance, safety, and efficiency while supporting production and plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for electrical layouts.
• Perform conduit bending, wiring, terminations, and panel work to NEC standards.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide corrective action to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with supervisors, project managers, and safety staff to meet jobsite requirements.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following OSHA, NEC, and site safety protocols.
Qualifications
• Must hold an active Virginia State Electrical Journeyman License (required).
• Minimum of 4 years of verifiable electrical experience, preferably in industrial or heavy commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, conduit installation, motor controls, and switchgear.
• Ability to work from lifts, ladders, and at heights as required.
• Must be dependable, safety-minded, and a team player.
