A leading regional healthcare organization in the Wichita area is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to support a high-volume imaging department known for advanced technology and comprehensive diagnostic services. This is a full-time evening position offering consistent scheduling, strong clinical support, and the opportunity to work within a collaborative imaging team serving diverse patient populations.
Perform MRI exams using established protocols while applying critical thinking and sound clinical judgment.
Maintain full competency with scanner technology, imaging techniques, and safety procedures to ensure the highest-quality studies.
Position and prepare patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort, safety, and accurate imaging.
Provide age-appropriate care to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Monitor and assess patients throughout exams, responding appropriately to needs or changes in condition.
Complete documentation and image management tasks, including PACS operations and exam processing.
Follow universal protocols, aseptic techniques, and MRI safety standards to protect patients and staff.
Adapt imaging approaches based on patient condition, exam type, and clinical requirements.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental efficiency and patient experience.
Registered MRI Technologist or eligibility to obtain MRI registry within 6 months of hire.
ARRT or ARMRIT certification.
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
BLS certification (or ability to obtain within required timeline).
One year of experience in an MRI imaging department.
Competitive hourly rate with evening and weekend differentials.
$30,000 sign-on bonus available.
