Position Title: OB Scrub Tech

Location: Neptune, NJ 07754

Job Type: Contract

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3 Days/Week (12-Hour Shifts)

Schedule Notes: Every other weekend required; 3 of 6 holidays required

Hours per Week: 36

Pay: $35–$44/hr ($1,207.50–$1,518/week)

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking OB Scrub Tech for an exciting job in Neptune, NJ.

• Prepare and maintain the OR, labor rooms, PACU, and related areas with required instruments and supplies.

• Maintain strict sterile technique, including proper scrubbing, gowning, and gloving.

• Assist surgeons during procedures such as Cesarean Sections, Hysterectomies, D&C, manual placenta removal, and cervical repair.

• Organize, stock, and manage surgical and labor supplies to ensure readiness.

• Communicate relevant patient information to the nursing team promptly.

• Support patient safety and comfort, responding professionally to patient and family needs.

• Assist with managing patient belongings and transfers during discharge or emergencies.

• Demonstrate calm, professional behavior during high-stress or emergency situations.

• Ensure proper care, handling, and functioning of equipment.

• Adhere to hospital policies, state regulations, and professional standards.

• Perform other assigned duties while maintaining required competencies.

• Certified OB Technician

• BLS (AHA) certification required

• Minimum 1 year of OB or Surgical Tech experience in an acute care setting

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including alternating weekends and required holidays
