Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- This position takes incoming calls from members, providers, etc. providing professional phone assistance to all callers. This role also helps prepare medications (counting, applying labels) for pharmacist final verification along with any other pharmacy technician job functions not mentioned here specifically.
Skills:
- Minimum year experience as a pharmacy technician or closely related role
- Minimum one year experience required in a customer service position taking inbound calls, help with counting and preparing medications for pharmacist verification.
- Pharm Tech license is required.
- Advanced computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet utilization.
- Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal) a must.
Education/Experience:
- Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
- Pharmacy Technician license is required.
