Job Description
Large managed care company is looking for Pharmacy Technicians to pick, label, scan and prepare the finished prescription for final verification by a pharmacist. This is a contract to hire position.
WORK LOCATION: 2747 W Grand Pkwy N, Ste D, Katy, TX 77449
PAY: $21.00
CONTRACT DATES: CONTRACT TO HIRE
HOURS: M-F, 8-4:30
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fills daily drug orders accurately and efficiently in a timely manner, under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Assists in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure
- Assists in prepacking frequently ordered medications, label and store, as needed during low volume times
- Packages materials and products manually
- Pull/pick medications from shelving and other medication storage areas (prepack racks)
- Applies labels to blister cards and then scans product for accuracy check
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Technician License issued by TX Board of Pharmacy
- Previous pharmacy technician experience
