• Starting Rate: $50 - $55 per hour ( DOE )

Job Description:

• Patient Treatment: Treat patients as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Documentation: Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes according to PT Board requirements.
• Department Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the therapy department and cleaning of the treatment area.
• Patient Care Participation: Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences as needed.
• Treatment Execution: Treat patients based on the physician's treatment plan and communicate effectively with the healthcare team about patient progress and plans.
• Equipment Reporting: Report any problems with department equipment to ensure it is maintained in good working order.
• Family Education: Instruct patients' families or nursing staff on maintaining care programs and caregiver training in preparation for patient discharge.

Required License or Certification:

• Valid Physical Therapist Assistant License
