Job Description:
- Patient Treatment: Treat patients as directed by the Physical Therapist.
- Documentation: Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes according to PT Board requirements.
- Department Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the therapy department and cleaning of the treatment area.
- Patient Care Participation: Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences as needed.
- Treatment Execution: Treat patients based on the physician's treatment plan and communicate effectively with the healthcare team about patient progress and plans.
- Equipment Reporting: Report any problems with department equipment to ensure it is maintained in good working order.
- Family Education: Instruct patients' families or nursing staff on maintaining care programs and caregiver training in preparation for patient discharge.
Required License or Certification:
- Valid Physical Therapist Assistant License
