Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Proofreader / Copy Editor to join our team. In this role, you will review and edit a variety of content to ensure it is clear, accurate, and polished. This is a full-time position offering flexible working hours and the option to work remotely or in a hybrid arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Proofread and edit documents for grammar, punctuation, spelling, consistency, and style
• Ensure materials align with brand guidelines, tone, and formatting standards
• Check the accuracy of facts, figures, and other content details
• Provide constructive feedback to writers and editors as needed
• Collaborate with content creators, designers, and project managers to meet deadlines
• Maintain version control and track changes across multiple documents
• Assist with updating style guides or reference materials
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field preferred
• Proven experience as a proofreader, editor, or similar role
• Exceptional command of grammar, punctuation, and language usage
• Familiarity with major style guides (APA, Chicago, AP, MLA)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and editing tools
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Work Schedule And Environment

• Full-time and Part-time (25–40 hours per week)
• Flexible schedule with core hours for team collaboration ( Day, Evening and Night Shift)
