Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Unit Schedule: Night Shift | 14-week
contract Pay Rate: From $55/hour


Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility


Job Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery for an exciting job in Fort Myers, FL.


Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered care throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum phases
• Monitor fetal well-being and manage high-risk obstetric cases
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy
• Assist with emergency interventions and cesarean deliveries
• Document patient assessments and care plans accurately in Epic EMR
• Float to sister campuses as needed and participate in on-call rotation (12 hours per 6-week period)

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of Florida
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP
• Completion of AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (required)
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring and EFM certification (preferred)
• Degree from an accredited nursing program (must be listed on profile) or 5+ years of L&D experience
• Ability to manage high-acuity patients and function as core staff
