RLS Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate survey records, including field notes, sketches, and digital files
- Analyze survey data and create detailed maps, plats, and reports
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction professionals to ensure accurate survey results
- Assist in the preparation of legal descriptions and land title documents
- Adhere to safety protocols and follow industry standards and regulations
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in land surveying or a related field
- Proficient in the use of Civil 3D software for drafting and design purposes
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment operation
- Familiarity with schematics and data analysis skills
- Excellent math skills for calculations and measurements
- Experience using CAD software for mapping and drafting purposes
- Knowledge of robotics technology used in land surveying is a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
