Job Title: Scrum Master


Location: Plano, TX AND Georgetown, KY (Onsite)


Job Type: Contract



Responsibilities:

• Proven experience in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Scaled Agile, with a strong understanding of Agile principles and practices
• Ability to lead and facilitate three Agile teams, ensuring effective collaboration, communication, and adherence to Scrum processes
• Strong skills in conflict resolution and problem-solving to address team challenges and foster a positive team environment
• Experience in coaching team members on Agile practices and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Proficient in using Jira for project management, including creating and managing boards, tracking progress, generating reports/dashboard, and creating Jira Plans (roadmaps).

Skills :

• The Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating all scrum events and ensuring transparency to team's commitments.
• They support daily scrums, manage mitigation of impediments help track and remove blockers, and facilitate sprint reviews to gather stakeholder feedback.
• They also lead retrospectives, ensure follow-up on improvement actions, and manage team-level impediments
• Additionally, they track and report on team's delivery metrics such as velocity and burndown charts, coordinate backlog refinements, and provide agile coaching and onboarding support.
• Success is measured by the team's velocity stability, the percentage of committed work completed in each sprint, the number of defects identified post-sprint, the completion rate of retrospective action items, and overall team engagement and health, often captured through surveys or check-ins.
