Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AEM Engineer to join our team. This role requires deep expertise in the Adobe Experience Manager platform and hands-on experience developing, testing, and deploying solutions. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong technical background who can lead complex AEM projects and mentor junior developers.
  • Candidates must be available to work in the EST time zone and be prepared to support late-night production releases and extended support hours when required.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable solutions using Adobe Experience Manager and modern web technologies.
  • Customize and extend AEM components, templates, and workflows to meet project requirements.
  • Integrate AEM with third-party systems and APIs to enhance functionality.
  • Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of AEM instances by applying best practices and performance optimization techniques.
  • Create and manage AEM workflows to automate content management processes.
  • Manage user permissions and roles to maintain a secure and efficient authoring environment.
  • Conduct code and design reviews, providing constructive feedback to junior developers and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, architects, and QA testers, to ensure project alignment and quality.
  • Troubleshoot and debug AEM applications to resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Utilize Splunk for log monitoring and analysis to proactively identify and address system issues.
  • Support late-night production releases and extended support hours as required to maintain system integrity.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and AEM best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager, including AEM Cloud.
  • 5+ years of experience in Adobe Workfront Fusion.
  • 4+ years of experience with strong Java development, including OSGi/Felix, Sling Models, and HTL (Sightly).
  • 5+ years of experience designing and implementing Content Fragment Models.
  • 5+ years of experience writing complex persisted queries.
  • 5+ years of experience with Splunk log monitoring.
  • 5+ years of experience creating and managing AEM Workflows.
  • 4+ years of experience managing user permissions and roles within AEM.
  • 4+ years of experience with Editable Templates, JCR/CRX, Maven, and Jenkins.
  • 5+ years of experience with web technologies, including AEM Dispatcher.
  • 4+ years of experience with API Integration.
  • 5+ years of experience with performance optimization.
  • 4+ years of development experience in Headless and Headful Patterns.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Adobe Certified Expert in AEM Sites Developer or other relevant certifications.
  • Experience with other Adobe Experience Cloud products.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
