**Job Details:** **Job Description:** Intel's Silicon Engineering Group is responsible for delivering Intel client and server products. The Senior Director will lead, and mentor cross-geo security and privacy teams aligned with silicon architecture initiatives. This role will manage resources, drive program direction, and support security architects in implementing technical strategies, policies, and best practices for silicon platforms. The focus is to ensure high-performance teams deliver secure, compliant, and resilient product architectures in partnership with customers and ecosystem partners. This role fills these responsibilities: Manage a global team: Direct, support, and develop the cross-geo computer security and privacy team within silicon architecture. Align strategy and execution: Drive execution of security and privacy programs. Cultivate customer engagement: Enable customer first technical engagement to ensure Intel products deliver features, requirements, and execution to delight our customers. Lead technical collaboration: Support security architects in technical implementation and decision-making processes. Ensure compliance: Oversee program performance against regulatory and internal standards and ensure timely reporting and review. Coordinate Security Assurance: Collaborate with Intel Product Assurance Security leaders in identification, reporting, and mitigation of security threats globally. **Qualifications:** Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Qualifications: + MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. + 15+ years' experience in computer silicon architecture, security, or related roles; + 8+ years in senior leadership positions managing global teams and operational programs Preferred Qualifications: + Familiarity security and privacy technologies and standards + Understanding of Security Development Lifecycles (SDL) + Knowledge of computer architecture (CPU, SoC, chipsets, BIOS, Firmware, Drivers, and others) + Working knowledge of hardware or software architecture and design + Strong communication and influence skills to inform and influence a variety of internal and external audiences including customers, architects, managers, and developers **Job Type:** Experienced Hire **Shift:** Shift 1 (United States of America) **Primary Location:** US, California, Folsom **Additional Locations:** US, Arizona, Phoenix, US, California, Santa Clara, US, Oregon, Hillsboro **Business group:** The Silicon Engineering Group (SIG) is a worldwide organization focused on the development and integration of SOCs, Cores, and critical IPs from architecture to manufacturing readiness that power Intel's leadership products. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
