BeMore Staffing is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Tax Credit Leasing Consultant to join our dynamic team within the Real Estate / Property Management industry. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a tax credit or HUD leasing role and a strong understanding of compliance requirements in affordable housing.
Review household certifications for all affordable properties to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
Prepare income certifications and re-certifications for Project-Based Section 8 and federally assisted properties
Review and approve move-in certifications and conduct quarterly reviews of annual re-certifications for Project-Based Section 8 properties
Monitor and report past-due re-certifications to ensure timely compliance
Assist in generating year-end building status reports for tax credit properties and complete all required electronic reporting
Monitor correct application of income and rent limits, including utility allowances
Provide support to property management teams regarding compliance, reporting, and resident certification processes
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in re-certifications and compliance for affordable and Section 8 multifamily housing properties
Strong knowledge of Section 8, LIHTC, and HUD regulations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Property management software experience ( Yardi, OneSite, or similar ) preferred
