Job Description
Role: Test Rail Admin
Location: Canada, Remote
Duration: 2-3 Months
- System Configuration: Maintain the TestRail platform, ensuring it aligns with organizational QA workflows and project milestones.
- User & Security Management: Manage user access, define global roles (e.g., Lead, Tester), and configure security protocols like Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) or SSO (Azure/Google).
- Project Governance: Create new projects, design custom test case templates, and set up custom fields to ensure consistent data collection.
- Tool Integration: Orchestrate connections between TestRail and external tools such as Jira, Selenium Grid, Jenkins, or CI/CD pipelines to enable end-to-end traceability.
- Reporting & Analytics: Generate quality metrics and status reports (e.g., Property Distribution, Summary for References) to help stakeholders track release readiness.
- Platform Maintenance: (For Server installs) Perform health checks, patch management, backups, and audit logging to maintain system reliability
