This Role Is Tailor-Made For You Because You are a handbag design enthusiast with a flair for luxury and an eye for detail. You are passionate about creativity, possess an elevated aesthetic, and thrive in a collaborative environment. You have a great understanding of handbag design and construction and are eager to bring your skills to a great brand.
A Day In The Life As an Assistant Designer of Handbags, you'll play a pivotal role in the creative process from concept to production. You'll be hand sketching, building and updating seasonal design boards, and managing tech packs and CADs using Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. You'll keep all style information organized and accessible, assist with sample preparation, and capture key notes and updates during design meetings. Your responsibilities will also include compiling trend research, maintaining our vintage and inspiration archive, and managing seasonal line sheets and the PLM system. Your keen eye for detail and organizational skills will ensure that every step of the design process runs smoothly!
To Land This Role - Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design or equivalent field
- 1+ years of design experience, or relevant internship experience working for a luxury retailer
- Understanding of handbag and accessories construction
- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong hand and Illustrator sketching skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Rhino or equivalent 3D rendering program experience is a plus, not required
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Positive attitude, passion, integrity and collaborative team-spirited approach
- Action-oriented and strong work ethic
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills

Compensation Range The compensation range for this position is 24.00 USD - 34.00 USD. Our offer will be based on your relevant experience and work location.
