Correctional Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) - Travel Position Location: Asheville, NC Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12s Days Pay: $1,652.40/week Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Correctional LPN/LVN to provide quality nursing care to individuals within a correctional facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to deliver safe, patient-centered care while maintaining security and professionalism in a correctional environment. Key Responsibilities: * Provide basic nursing care, including patient assessments, vital signs, medication administration, and treatments. * Assist with triage, sick calls, chronic care, and emergency interventions as needed. * Monitor patient conditions and report changes to supervising nurses or physicians. * Support patient education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication adherence. * Document patient care accurately and maintain confidentiality in compliance with facility policies. * Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient care plans and ensure continuity of care. * Follow all safety protocols, infection control standards, and correctional facility regulations.
