Correctional Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position Location: Asheville, NC Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12s Days Pay: $2,129.40/week Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Correctional Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality healthcare services to individuals in a correctional facility setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to deliver patient-centered care in a secure environment while maintaining safety and professionalism. Key Responsibilities: * Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, treatments, and documentation. * Monitor, evaluate, and respond to the physical and mental health needs of patients. * Assist with emergency care, triage, and crisis interventions as needed. * Collaborate with physicians, mental health professionals, and other healthcare staff to develop and implement care plans. * Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication compliance. * Follow facility safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and legal documentation standards. * Maintain professional boundaries while demonstrating empathy and respect toward the patient population.
