The Cloud Administrator usually works under the direction of a Manager or user agency personnel and manages or oversees all aspects of one or more Multi-Cloud IT projects while interacting with mid-level officials of similar capacity at the user agency and private sector.
Experience Required:Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience managing VMware Sphere environments (On-premise or cloud versions like AVS), including ESXi hosts, vCenter and vRA. Performed and led successful 3+ migrations from VMWare on-premise to VMWare cloud versions or VMWare on-premise to other types of hypervisors using HCX and any other similar technologies.
Education Required:This classification requires the possession of (a) a bachelor's degree, and (b) a current certification in one or more of the following technologies: VMware Cloud Professional Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Platform Architect Certifications Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
