Join the PACU team!** **Now Hiring:** Travel Registered Nurse - PACU **Location:** Atlanta, GA **_Important_** _: Applicants_ **_Must_** _reside_ **_50 miles_** _or more from zip code 30342_ **Schedule:** 13 weeks | 8 hour Days 730a-4p, M-F | Must work 1 Major and 1 Minor Holiday **Key responsibilities:** + Monitor and care for patients immediately after surgery as they recover from anesthesia + Assess vital signs, manage pain, ensure airway management, administer medications, update patient records, and educate patients and their families on post-operative care + Address potential complications and provide emotional support, working collaboratively with surgeons and anesthesiologists + Assess for signs of complications like bleeding, infection, or adverse reactions to anesthesia + Assist with patient transfers and discharge planning **Qualifications:** + Minimum 2 years' experience, working in specialty + Active RN License in GA or compact license + AHA BLS & ACLS certifications required + Must have IV insertion skills and recent pre op or post op experience + Previous travel experience preferred **Pay Breakdown:** + $720 per week (taxable) + $1,435 per diem (non-taxable) **Pay Details:** $2,155.00 per week Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
